    Re: This week for VT

Elan had some great numbers out of HS,

"As a junior, Lewis rushed for 2,474 yards and 39 touchdowns. He made Peninsula District history in becoming the first player to rush for over 2,000 yards in 10 regular season games. Lewis earned first-team all-state honors by the AP and coaches for his junior year performance.

Coach Bill Dee: "He has great vision. He finds holes. Like all great runners, he finds the holes and knows when to zig and when to zag. He runs with power and speed. He's so strong...he can squat over 700 pounds. Importantly to me, he really protects the ball well. He also catches the ball out of the backfield really well."?"

One just tends to worry after the knee injury if he will get back to 100%. If so I think he will be a very good back. Seems he also tends to carry too much weight also.
"We cannot expect the Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism."
    - Soviet Leader Nikita Khrushchev, 1959

    Welcome to the USSA!

yeah....he's not exactly a healthy eater...he looks like a bowling ball walking around campus

a friend of mine and i saw him walking to west end one time and saw that his shirt said "VT football" and we both said there was no way that kid played football for Tech...turns out to be Elan Lewis

even at his weight though he looks good running the ball
